Field Collected: Tom Mortimer - 2014 (Authorized visit) Catalog No.: 1906 Notes: Embedded allanite crystals are almost invariably broken when exposed in matrix. The radiating fracture structure around these crystals is characteristic for this species. A EDS analysis on a Peter Cristofono Pike Wilton Quarry allanite from this same narrow vein indicated the allanite-(Ce) species. |
